There is no change to the system and I am still forced to remove my Lenovo Ultrabook from the monitor and work from the little 13" screen in laptop mode which defeats the purpose of having one machine for all my needs. So if after changing the operating system, Touch does not work, you must look to the computer chipset driver as the fault, not the monitor. All we provided for earlier operating system were the inf/icm/cat drivers. The Touch capability driver is innate in the operating system (7/8/8.1/10). I proceeded with the installation of the driver for windows 8 but it was not successful and the software never appeared on my list of installed programs even though the installation menu indicated that it did install. None of our Touch monitors had dedicated Touch drivers. This is why I submitted this question in the first place. However, when selecting a windows version (as you noted) windows 10 was not an option. After I found the dell driver and downloaded it I checked the "run in compatibility mode" box. I did not find any software related to the dell touch screen to delete nor do I remember installing any such software when I originally started using this monitor with windows 8.Ĥ. ![]() Thanks for your reply however, I did not find it helpful for the following reasons:ġ.
